I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. I Love to draw and paint more than anything else. I am also an aspiring writer.

Art enables me to communicate my inner most deepest feelings; My Fear(s), My Anger, My Desire, My Pain, My Sorrow, MY Dreams, My Hope, My Unique & Quirky Characters, & above all else, My Love.

Art, in the forms I am best at has enabled me to learn so much more about myself, and in turn has helped me become the Man I am today.

Every aspect of my art is now shaped by the Truth and Understanding I have gained of Love!!! The most Beautiful, Kind, Nurturing, Positive force in my life; that I have ever known.

Love is my answer to ALL things!!!

If you would like to view more of my art and my writings, spend some time the Archive-Based Creative Arts website and blog. This is my primary platform for sharing my creativity.

  • Pencil sketch of the ABCA logo image

    ABCA Logo Draft

Commissioned in 2022, this pencil draft is an early version of the ABCA logo image. Finished painting featured here as well.

  • Color drawing of a naked figure with breasts, heart, uterus and brain wrapped in chains symbolic of patriarchy. She is in a dark tunnel lined with columns that are inscribed with superlatives honoring her potential power.

    Freedom Begins with Her

This artwork is a depiction of restrictions imposed on woman and the existing patriarchal society of today.

The woman in this drawing is representative of the myriad shades in the minority state of being.

Every aspect of the woman’s current condition is imposed upon her by man: the chains that restrict her ultimate ascension. Clearly take note of the keys required to set her free!

Review the chamber the woman is held captive within. Take a close look at the possibilities of greatness she can reach.

She is our mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend….

  • Painting with castle, pyramid and cityscape in the foreground, with Archive-Based Creative Arts title up and down the side of the pyramid. Foreground: an earth over lakewater at night.

    ABCA Logo

The finished piece! This work was commissioned by ABCA in 2022, to represent the ABCA program and workshop online and in publications. Leonard’s work graces the cover of the 2022-2023 member catalog.
